I would invent: A transporter a la Star Trek so I don't have to ride the annoying crowded subway to work anymore!

How could we have anything more than.....the i-phone??????

    C'mon.....C'MON.....!

Jacking into a computer straight from your brain a la William Gibson. If apple invents that, THEN I will be impressed!

A correstion to what Samantha just said: DC is actually more efficient than AC for moving power long distances--for example, it's used to move huge amounts of power from hydro plants in northern Canada down to NYC.

The problem with DC was that until recently, there was no efficient way to change the voltage in DC circuts, so you couldn't convert from long-haul power to levels that were safe for household use.

Sorry to geek out on you.

    Poor Tesla,

    usurped by Mitt Romney.

There are few women in the creativity book and they get cut off on the Lopate show.

There was no reason you couldn't cut short the other stories you had and return to Ms. Hunt.

She was informed, entertaining and well spoken.

There was no reason to cut off the author due to the Mitt Romney announcement. Who cares about Romney anyway!!! I wanted to hear about Tesla.
